REFUND & CANCELLATION

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies ONLY to commission payments made through the Taxi King Platform. Taxi King does NOT collect trip fares from end customers — all ride payments happen directly between drivers and customers outside the Platform.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: Taxi King mobile app, website, and related services
  • Driver: A user who accepts a booking posted on the Platform
  • Agent: A user who posts a booking on the Platform
  • Booking: A trip request posted and accepted via the Platform
  • Commission: Amount paid by the Driver to the Agent through the Platform
  • Cancellation: Termination of a confirmed booking before completion
  • Refund: Amount returned to the Driver based on cancellation rules

2. Nature of Payments

Taxi King does NOT collect trip fares from end customers. This Policy applies exclusively to commission payments made by Drivers to Agents via the Platform. All trip fare payments are handled directly between the Driver/Agent and the end customer.

3. Cancellation Rules

Before Pickup

A booking may be cancelled by either the Driver or the Agent before the Driver reaches the pickup location and clicks "Pickup Ride" in the app.

After Pickup

✗ Once the Driver clicks "Pickup Ride", the booking is confirmed and active. Cancellation is NOT permitted after this point and no refund will be processed.

4. Refund Policy

🏢 Agent Cancels (Before Pickup)

✓100% of the commission paid by the Driver is automatically refunded to the Driver's account.

🚖 Driver Cancels (Before Pickup)

!A cancellation charge of up to 50% may be deducted. Remaining balance may be partially refunded or allocated to the Agent.

Platform Discretion — Fraud & Disputes

In cases of fraud, fake bookings, payment disputes, or misuse of the Platform, Taxi King reserves the right to hold funds, adjust refund amounts, or decide final settlement. The decision of Taxi King in such cases is final for platform purposes.

5. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed instantly or within a reasonable timeframe following the cancellation. Actual credit time to your account depends on your bank, UPI provider, or payment gateway. Taxi King is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment partners.

6. Non-Refundable Cases

No refund will be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation occurs after "Pickup Ride" has been clicked
  • The booking has been successfully completed
  • Fraud or platform misuse is detected
  • Platform rules or Terms of Service have been violated

7. Changes to Policy

Taxi King may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised date. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
